File Attachment - Overwritting Already Loaded Files

Hello

When a file is uploaded as an attachment, is there a way to get a warning if the file being uploaded has the same name as one already in the file list? If I upload another file with the same same as below, it will just overwrite the file, while getting rid of the previous file.

The previous file should get saved as a new version. You should still have access to the file by clicking the edit button, finding the version and clicking “view selected version”

Out of curiosity, is there anyway to get a warning if the file name is the same?

Nothing stock that I’m aware of. You would need a customization.
