Is there a way to send a notification to a supervisor of upcoming service orders which have been scheduled for the coming week. Can this be done with the calendar board? or an export to an outlook calendar?

@lewisad As far as I know you would need to create a GI and use a Business Event to trigger when the schedule fell within the desired time frame. The BE can send an email but I don’t think there’s a specific way of adding it directly to someone else’s calendar. Maybe someone else knows a way to do this, but I don’t think I’ve seen something like that before.

There are a number of examples of using the GI and BE combination to accomplish an email reminder though.

@BenjaminCrisman Thanks for your prompt reply. I will work towards you suggestion and if there’s a way to get it to an outlook calendar later, then I’ll look into that also.
