Dependent parameter between Sales Order and Shipment?

Is there an existing depency between the sales order and the related shipments for that sales order? I would like to pick the sales order number then pick the shipment number. 

Or is this a custom table?

SOOrderShipment has both the Order Nbr and the Shipment Nbr. You can also connect SOLine to SOShipLine though the order nbr and order type fields.
