We just realized that our SOOrder CreatedOn is giving us issues when we make the date today and OrderType SO.

  1. The number of records shows in the soorder field is not the number of records that it pulls in to excel sheet. When the OrderType is SO and CreatedOn is today. The records say 27 but ones I pull it to excel it gives me 24 rows. In excel 4 of my rows are missing.
  1. Also, the OrderTotal in sum up to $128,992.65, but in excel it sums up to be $51,072.68

What could be the problem?

This is GI

@SandyA Dates in SQL are stored in UTC time, so depending on what the time zone was of the user who created the record, it will convert to UTC in the database and add a number of hours to the record’s created date time. If it was EDT then at like 9pm all the records are going to show tomorrow’s date.

Also, in the UI the date is converted to the user’s time zone relative to the time zone of the user who created the record. When you filter or use functions on the records then it uses the UTC times in the DB rather than the UI times.

Hi @SandyA ,

In Acumatica, CreatedDateTime is stored in UTC while the “Today” filter in a Generic Inquiry is evaluated based on the server/application time zone. To avoid missing records, use a range filter like CreatedDateTime >= Today AND CreatedDateTime < Today + 1 so all records created within the full day are correctly included.
