Convert the total SO line values into letter format

Hi there,

I need to convert the total SO Line value into words (letter format).

 

I have reviewed the links below and noticed that this does not appear to be a straightforward process and may require customization. I would like to double-check with you whether there is any standard or built-in way to achieve this in the latest releases, without requiring customization.

I think you’re aware of these options, because I’ve taken them from the references you linked to:

Is that while clunky, you absolutely could do this for an arbitrarily long number, if you’re willing to add enough formula into your report.  They’re likely to be pretty fast calculation wise, so the annoyance is in the setup, not in the actual usage.
If you want to run this past thousands, add an extra variable for each digit you want to convert, and extend the formula out.


Otherwise, the method appears to be DAC customization to make use of PX.Objects.AP.ToWords.

    Unfortunately, there is no out of box functionality on report designer that can be used to convert numeric fields to words. A customization would be required.
