business account activities summary by dates

@pcampbell Two ways, depending on whether you want it for one account or across accounts.

On the account itself, the Activities tab is a filterable grid. Click the Created On column header and set a date condition, or open Column Configuration to unhide Start Date and Completed Date and filter on those. Filter Settings lets you save a date-range filter as a tab so you don't rebuild it each time.

For a real summary, build a generic inquiry (SM208000) on CRActivity joined to BAccount on CRActivity.BAccountID = BAccount.BAccountID. That's the same link the Activities tab uses, so the inquiry returns exactly what the tab shows, including activities logged on the account's contacts. Don't join on RefNoteID = NoteID. That only picks up activities created directly on the business account record and misses the contact ones. Add a condition CRActivity.ClassID greater than or equal to 0, which is how the tab drops the system email routing rows.

For the dates, add two parameters on the Parameters tab (DateFrom, DateTo) and a condition Start Date Is Between [DateFrom] and [DateTo]. Use Created On instead if you care about when it was logged rather than when it happened. For counts per account, group by BAccount.AcctName on the Grouping tab and set Aggregate Function COUNT on the NoteID column. Add Type or Owner to the grouping if you want the breakdown by activity kind or by rep.
