Any advice for making a GI to replicate a processing screen/ projection DAC

The ones i have in mind are

Create Purchase Orders - POFixedDemand

Approvals - EPApprovalProcess.EPOwned

This is for dashboard purposes

Hi ​@Jonathanr. I would inspect a field on the grid you want to replicate and view it’s Business Logic source. Find the view (e.g. FixedDemand) in the source, and then build your GI based on the BQL for that view.

Hi ​@Jonathanr,

What I would use is look at what the processing screen is showing, e.g. the PO status is showing Opened, Pending Printing, or what have you. Then create as simple of a GI as possible and set the condition based off what you want to see in terms of the Status. 
 

For the approvals, just build a basic GI off the EPApprovalProcess.EPOwned DAC to display on the Dashboard.

Keep in mind, you won’t be able to do Mass Actions just from the dashboard GI itself; however, it will show you which ones do need approved.
