Allow Generic Inquiry ability to group on a column or multiple columns and have subtotals based on the grouping

Looking to allows users the ability to use a GI and group on a column through the UI. Also to be able to allow the user to add totals and subtotals for the groupings in the UI.

I’m not sure what functionality you’re talking about, but have you tried Pivot Tables?

Not without using Pivot Tables or a printed report which doesn’t provide the ease that having the detail rows with a subtotal under the group in the GI.

 

Example: sub-total by date.
