How to create a punch list for construction

Forum|alt.badge.img

In the Acumatica Construction Edition, how would I create a ‘punch list’ for projects?  Is that something done through Cases?

@NetAdmin42 i don't believe acumatica has a punch list form/report but one way that worked for some of my clients was to create project issues using the project management module.  Project issues require a class ID so the ID that we created was “Punch”

to view the issues/punch list, you can filter the project issues inquiry screen by project ID to sort through open issues or possibly even create a separate GI with a project parameter.

hope this helps!

@NetAdmin42, @iqraharrison is correct in stating that we do not have a formal punch list function. Like @iqraharrison mentions, some customers have used Project Issues to manage punch lists. Other customers have used ISV partners like GoFormz or Single Source’s Productivity tools and created Punch Lists in Acumatica using their custom form builders.

Here are a couple of links to our marketplace pages for them:

Hi @iqraharrison and @mike.gillum
Thank you both for your answers.  Odd that was not something considered with the Construction edition.  Seems to be a bit of an oversight.
