Not able to release time cards on Release Time Cards screen

Hello all,

I have bee trying to release time cards but it throws the following error:

​@Harry thanks! i was asking because in prior versions, the delegates tab of the employee profile allowed you to release timecards on behalf of employees but on newer versions, that functionality doesn’t seem to work the same but i’ve seen it done through the company tree

do you have a company tree set up with the employees listed within one of the nodes? your role would need to be a step higher to allow you to release. Could you share a screenshot of the company tree?

Hey ​@iqraharrison , so the tree has a parent node with the login name that I have logged in and then child nodes that represent branches and the delegates. So now when I go ahead to release the cards manually in the release time cards screen, I am able to release but it throws the same error if I setup an automation schedule.

The user who tries to release this time card needs to be on the company tree to release this.
