Update BOM on a released Production Order

How can I add the BOM to a Production Order that has already been released?

@Gillian  If production order is not in process yet, you change the status of the production order from Released to Planned and add the source: BOM in the References tab on production order maintenance form.

You can put the Production Order on hold and manually add your operations and materials to the Production Order via the Production Order Details screen.

Otherwise you should probably cancel the Production Order and create a new one - making sure the BOM is referenced correctly before you Release the Production Order

        FYI: This trick can also work to “refresh” a production order with a now current BOM; if it was created from a BOM, you change the source to no source, save, then change source to BOM and select your BOM/Rev.
