Does anyone use or know if you can have multiple revisions for a stock item that you can make active or inactive, etc just like the Bill of Material module allows you to do?

+3Acumatica currently does not track inventory at the revision level. Is that what you are asking?

+1If a stock item is revised it is considered a different physical item, so you would need to create a new stock item. As you mentioned you can track revisions on BOMs for manufacturing or on Kit Specifications for distribution.
