Stock Item - Inventory Description Tab

The Description field looks to be in default paragraph mode. 

Is there any limitation to the amount of information that can be added to this field? We have parts that require extensive technical descriptions.

Do we have the ability to attach a document to this description?

Hi @BethHanselman  In the Stock Items screen → Description tab, we don’t have any limitation for this Description (body) field. This field can accept large text. Basically Description field is Rich Text control, where we can provide the text using HTML tags.

We can not attach documents to the Description field, but we can attach on the FILES section.

Adding to what @Naveen B has mentioned, following formats can be selected while entering the data. If you enter html data, ‘Visual’ and ‘Preview’ reflects formatted content using html tags.
