SQL error typically occurs because the order is not completely balanced. Unreleased transactions, missing move records, or problems with unit conversion are typical causes. Release all associated transactions, verify the existence of each move transaction, and make sure unit conversions are configured correctly in order to resolve it. Examine any database modifications or customizations that might be preventing the status update if the error persists. In most situations, the production order can close successfully after these records are corrected.

Hi @chameera71, this error has been happening since we went live in February 2025 on 2024 R2 Build 24.208.0020+ - we were told it could be costing, so we have checked all processed production orders and all are completed correctly (materials released, move’s released etc) and all costing is correct.  We do have 2 non-stock items, Water & Steam that are used in most BOM’s and these are not lotted yet the system “SPLITS” them.  I have tested in our TEST environment of setting them up as stocked items and I still get the error.  I also found that on a couple items, I did not get the error when the BOM used only 1 of them, either Water or Steam, but not on every item that only used one.  Also, neither of them have any cost.
