Is there a way to have a secondy production order generated that is linked to a sales order line?

For example if we enter a sales order line that calls for 10 units to be produced and production closes the order after only completing 5. (Or if production scrapped 5 units) Can another production order automatically generate for the remining 5 units required to complete the sales order line?

Thanks

If using MRP, it would recognize you had demand for a quantity of 5 and recommend you create a production order to satisfy it.

If not using MRP - you could create a generic inquiry to monitor production orders under completed and then put that on a dashboard for visibility.

You might want to look at changing your production preference settings to not include scrap in completions if that is your main issue
