Production order and Purchase order creating

Hello everyone,


I need to create many purchase orders for a production order.
How can I do that because the system only allows to create one purchase order and if I change the quantity, it does not suggest to create another purchase order.

@Mayssa2 If you are changing the Quantity Required of the material to be purchased.
You can always create purchase order for the material separately and utilize the PO Link command available in the Materials tab of the Production Order details (AM209000) form to link the new Purchase order with the material demand.

But i didn’t know how to link the new purchase order to production order…😖

Could you please explain with some screeshots ?

 

There is no field on the purchase order transaction that specifies the production order number…

@Mayssa2 PO link command is available in Materials tab of the Production order details form.
