Inventory Planning Results by Item shows qty on hand as 0?

Our company is testing MRP and I am confused as to why the “Qty On Hand” for this item says 0 on the “Inventory Planning Results by Item” form. Under “Warehouse” there is a “Qty on Hand” field that says 0.
 

According to ACU this what calculates Qty on Hand on this page:
 

Below is the inventory summary of this item with location shown and it clearly shows 3 on hand in that location:
 

Below shows that this location is checked for “Inventory Planning” there is no “MRP check box” as per the above definition but I find that ACU uses “Inventory Planning” and “MRP” interchangeably.


So why is “Qty On Hand” 0?? There is no allocated inventory and I have recalculated inventory for that item as well.

    Just a few questions to better understand the setup of the item and the warehouse.

    What are your settings on the Inventory Planning Tab for warehouse OGS?

    What does Inventory Allocation Details (IN402000) display for the item warehouse combination?

    Hey there! the following day the qty on hand was correct and it seems to be more accurate now so I’m not sure if ACU was just having a day lol thank you!

    Hi ​@SBaldwin,

    I believe the Inventory ID you are using to check the MRP results is not set with "MRP" as the planning method on the Stock Items screen.
    Please check using Inventory IDs where the planning method is set as "MRP" on the Stock Items screen.

    Hey ​@SBaldwin,

    I’m not sure if this was your issue but the “Inventory Planning Results by Item” screen will show only the on hand quantity of that item at the time that Inventory Planning was run. It is not a live reporting of quantity on hand so it will not show the changes in quantity throughout the day (receipts and shipments).
