Inventory Planning Display as a Generic Inquiry

Hello!

We are a manufacturing company, and we currently use the Inventory Planning Display screen to view what finished goods need to be manufactured in order to meet sales orders and safety stock. I would like to have the same information pulled as a generic inquiry (no actions, obviously) for the potential to utilize it with business events for production planning down the road while also using it to build a dashboard.

Has anyone ever tried to make the Inventory Planning Display as a GI? Could I see how it was created?

Thanks!

Hi @Dgreen

All the fields except for ‘Selected’ are DB fields, meaning they are stored values.

This being said I have given it a test and it seems to pull the data well.

You can just use the AMRPDisplay table, this is the only table used on the screen, then select all the fields that you require.

Attached GI with all fields from the table.

@Dgreen

On another note, Business Events firing from GI’s are very finnicky. I haven’t been able to have an import scenario fire if this was your use case.

Automation schedules seem to work better for this.

@aiwan
Unfortunately, I cannot use the attachment you sent. It says I am missing a key code. Am I missing something?

Thanks!

@Dgreen and @aiwan - Files downloads are not currently working. It’s an escalated issue with Gainsight (community platform vendor). If you want to share information privately, you could email the file directly.
