Does anyone know how to build a Generic Inquiry to show the inventory that is currently in process on a production order.  like Storage Details by Location but for inventory that all the operation on the bill of material has been completed yet.   we are new to Acumatica and need this when confirming our on hand inventory counts.

i had a typo above.   “all the operation on the bill of material have NOT been completed yet”.

Not sure what you are looking for - but did you look at the Critical Materials side panel on the production order?

We are also delivering  a new “Production orders by build capability” with 25 R1  - will this help?

Thanks Debbie but i’m lookin g a Generic Inquiry that i can run for a warehouse that shows all the Inventory ID that are have been put in our work in process account but not taken out.  not sure how to explain it.  When we create a Move operation for the first operation on our machined castings the system takes the raw casting out of stock and put’s it into a WIP account.   at that time if I run a inventory report like Storage Details or Inventory Valuation the raw casting no longer shows up in inventory until i complete the final operation for the Casting and at that point it shows on hand as a sub assembly.

i’ve tried to build a GI to show just this what i call In Process inventory but can’t seem to find the correct tables.   i can see the parts that pass through my WIP account but i need one to show items in it currently.   Hope this make better sense.

i can see the transaction on the Event’s tab of the production order if i drill into the batch number so i know there has to be away to see the Inventory ID and Qty in this account somehow,

I’m fairly new to the Community so if my question has not been answered yet do i just leave the question open and not click the Best Answer check.

@rdillard64  - I asked one of my developers - try AMProdMatl for the material which has some qty actual (qty issued) and where the production order (AMProdItem) is In Process status and has QtyRemaining

Hi @rdillard64  - Yes, you would leave your question open until you have an answer.
