Can APS schedule substitute work centers?

We have a client that has multiple production lines that they can choose from to perform the same operation. I am trying to use APS to automatically fill the capacity of these lines.

As of yet I have not found a suitable solution to achieve this.

Does anybody have some advice here?

There is work center substitution capability within Acumatic MFG APS.

However the APS algorithm currently does not support scheduling multiple assembly lines / splitting capacity for production across a group of work centers.  We rely on Vendor Solutions to provide this advance scheduling capability.
