ALERT: Demand Planning Impaired for Production Materials using non-Base UOMs in In Process Production Orders on 25R2

Hi ​@danielklumpp - this has been fixed. 

​@Debbie Baldwin am I correct that this will not be fixed until 27R1?  I was told by support that this bug AC-377609 was wrapped into bug AC-369235 to be fixed in 27R1.  I’m surprised no other customers are experiencing this, or perhaps they don’t realize it yet.  I’m also skeptical that AC-377609 will be fixed with AC-369235 - take a look below, and please pass this along to support as well.

I just looked again and we have material demand lines from In Process production orders that are not even showing at all in Allocation Details - it’s not that the UOM conversion is not happening, they are not showing at all.

336.0000 IN remaining qty, in base UOM would be 1.4 EA.

This line does not show at all coming from order PR 107365.

AC-369235 states:

On the Production Order Maintenance (AM209000) form, if a production order was created with a non-base unit of measure, the system calculated the material requirements by using the production quantity in the order's unit of measure instead of converting it to the base unit. As a result, the Inventory Allocation Details (IN402000) form showed an incorrect total required quantity for the component items.

Which indicates that a line should be at least showing up with incorrect qty on Allocation Details.

​@danielklumpp - yes they were merged. If there are other issues you will need to add them to your case. I can’t do it for you. Right now - yes - it was fixed in 27 R1. 

​@Debbie Baldwin my case is accurate as it stands with no other issues to report/add to it.  I am just wondering if RnD should review whether my case and the other case should be unmerged.  The other case was regarding a UOM conversion error.  My case was different in that the Allocation Details records are not showing at all.  I just want to make sure that the fix for the UOM conversion error also fixed the missing records error.  I sent a message to support, but you may also need to prompt the re-review since RnD feels they are done.
