Hi All,

Is It Possible to 2-ways Data Exchange Between Acumatica and Sharepoint Via Microsoft Integration?

I want to save uploaded files in Acumatica to the sharepoints. Do you know any possible ways instead of using Azure Bob Storage?

Thank much

What is the motive for wanting to use SharePoint instead?

I suspect it may be because you wish to have a way to open the files outside of Acumatica. If so, this is a bad idea. Acumatica stores the files with ugly guid names that will be nearly impossible to locate.

Hi Daryl

I found a case where the only difference is cost. The customer already pays for Office 365 and has plenty of space in SharePoint. With the estimated volume in Acumatica, they will need to purchase extra space which is not cheap and adds to the cost they are paying overall.

If you’re talking about Acumatica database storage, agreed. But leveraging the ‘External Files Storage’ option (which support needs to enable for Saas clients) allows using cheap storage like Amazon AWS or Azure. But the files are still managed through Acumatica.
