Browser Navigation Behavior Impacting Report Parameters (Chrome and Edge)

JAMIS would like to proactively share an update regarding a recent change in browser behavior that may impact how certain reports and screens open within JAMIS Prime.

What’s happening

Recent updates to Chromium-based browsers (such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge) have introduced changes to how navigation parameters are handled in JAMIS Prime. As a result, in some cases, reports or screens that typically open with pre-filled parameters may now open without those values automatically populated.

What this means for you

  • This behavior is specific to the browser and not the underlying report functionality.
  • Reports and screens continue to function normally when you enter parameters manually.
  • Mozilla Firefox is not impacted and continues to process navigation parameters as expected.

What you can do now

To maintain your current workflow efficiency, we recommend the following options:

  • Use Mozilla Firefox (recommended): Firefox continues to support the expected navigation behavior, allowing reports and screens to open with parameters pre-filled.
  • Navigate directly to the report: Access the report or screen directly and enter the required parameters as needed.

We are actively working to align with these browser changes and they will be included in an upcoming release of JAMIS Prime.
