Hello all,

I have been working on ARM reports where I have defined my start and end fin period as the param, has YTD & PTD as columns.

So if I run for a periodic range of Jan-26 till May-26 both the columns show the same values. I am unable to understand if I’m missing something in here?

Any ideas?

Hi @Harry , if you are using ranges then it will be calculated same for both the columns. However if you only have one parameter of fin period then ytd will be calculated from start of fiscal year till the period you entered in your parameter.

Hope this helps!!

In the stock version of the Profit and Loss report, the system only requires the “Start Period” which is the period you want to report on.  If your report is always from period 1 until the current period, this setting will work:

From Report Definition Screen

If you want to be able to specify different start/end ranges…

  • Turnover will give you turnover for the full range of periods (which when period 1 is your start period will be the same as YTD)
  • If you want the Turnover for a specific period, you will need to expand the data source field and likely play around with the Offset values so that it just uses the start period.
