Hello,

When a Period is Locked, no one may post to it.

When a Period is Closed, people in the Financial Supervisor Role may post to it if Restrict Access to Closed Periods is checked ON in GL Preferences screen.

If Restrict Access to Closed Periods is not checked in GL Preferences screen, everyone may post to the closed period (only a Warning will appear).
