Using Parent Billing Account credit card payment method to pay for child account invoices

We use the parent billing account/child account structure for customers that have a parent billing account and numerous employees that order online from us. This structure works well for being able to roll up the invoices for all child accounts to the parent, and for applying parent payments to the parent and child customer account invoices.

Some of our parent accounts want to pay by the same credit card for all parent and child account invoices. 

Is it possible to use the parent customer credit card payment method to auto-process credit card payments for its children as well?

I guess it depends on the specific workflow. Generally it is possible. 

E.g. when you create a payment record for the parent and then click ‘Load Invoices’ there is an option to load invoices from children as well. It does not really depend on the payment method here.

 

However, if you, for instance, want to send payment links and allow the parent to pay for all children links at once, it is not possible. 

 

So, what is your specific workflow?

Can we do this parent billing for CC and/or EFT in Acumatica payments?   Right now when we want to create a payment for a parent and load child invoices to pay, we cannot select any of the child invoices for the payment.
