Hello!

When I try to create a journal transaction using a subaccount which is exist in the system and shows me on the subaccount list, it gives me the error message ‘Subaccount cannot be found in the system’.

We have segmented the subaccount.

Sometimes it works if I enter the subaccount on the subaccounts form and save.

Anyone knows why this happens?

Hi @apallawala21 are the subaccounts segmented? Did you set them up on the segmented keys screen? I’ve run into this issue before if they were segmented and I had validation turned on. Make sure you use your keyboard shortcut F3 to see all the possible options for each segment.

Hi @estebanperalta54

Yes, I have segmented the subaccount on the segmented keys screen but has validation off. And the error I’m getting is coming when selecting a subaccount which is already exist.

Hi @estebanperalta54

The issue has occurred because we have uploaded the subaccounts with the Seperator value ‘-’. Once we upload the subaccounts with no Seperator value, it worked fine. Thank you for the kind support.
