Does anyone know if there is a side effect in ARM to have all balance sheet and income statement accounts in a single Row Set. I am not sure why all out of box samples have different row sets for balance sheet and income statement accounts. I created one all inclusive and doesn’t seem to have any obvious issue but I would appreciate if you can share your experience about the potential side effects.

Hi @aaghaei

According to accounting principles, financial statements such as: Balance Sheet only uses accounts of the "Asset & Liability" type. While Income Statement only uses accounts of the "Income & Expense" type.

Therefore, in ARM reports, it is necessary to create different row sets.

Best Regards,

NNT

Hi @nhatnghetinh

Thank you for the rsponse. I have master in accounting and I am a CPA so I am well aware of what is included in each financial statements. My question is not about what is included in each statements. I am looking to print both BS and IS in one report rather than printing them separetly. My question is about the potential technical side effects in Acumatica not accounting side of it.
