I have the following posting class set up.

However, every time I make an SO with that class, the Account does not pull over from the warehouse, and I get the following Error: 'SalesAcctID' cannot be empty.

I do have the accounts set on the warehouse

Check your sales order type and where it is set to get the Sale Account from

Hi @cmoreland

Please note that "Sales Account" on Tab: "GL ACCOUNT" Posting Class of that item cannot be left blank.

Best Regards,

If you set the posting class to pull the sales account from the warehouse it does not appear to be required. Are you saying it just expects something there but will pull from the warehouse regardless? Meaning, If I set the sales account to 4000 on the class and the account to 4001 on warehouse. It will use 4001 but the code is just expecting a value to be there on the posting class?

Thanks, this got me in the right neighborhood. I had an oddity where it defaulted back to the ITEM for the SALES and COGS. However, the way we have our Intercompany set up this oddly was ok on that order type.
