Hello all,

i have built a 12 Mos rolling report & the coulmns seem to be carrying forward the balance to the next months and soo. I only want to display the figures relevant to current period. How to do so under Column sets?

Hello @Harry ,

Please look at Column Set DPLM this example comes with Acumatica tenants.

When we want only the Net Change in the current period (PTD Period to Date - Do Not Carry Forward previous months’ balances) we use Turnover option in Data Source.

When we want Year to Date cumulative balance (YTD) we use Ending Balance option in Data Source.

hi @Laura03 ,

Thanks for your prompt response. I have mapped Turnover only in the column set, still the client mentions that it is carrying forward the previous month.

@Laura03 ,
Similarly, for PTD I have used Ending balance & for YTD - turnover and this is what they have said:

“The PTD column is currently identical to the YTD column on every row. PTD should show the current period only, while YTD should show the cumulative year-to-date amount.”

Hello,

This example copied below is backwards; should be: PTD = Turnover, YTD = Ending Balance.

Otherwise, are you 100% certain the client is using the same reports that you have shown? What period did they print? (In period 1, Period to date will match YTD on a P & L.)  I think we need screenshots of what they are seeing - Have they sent examples, with Trial Balance for the same month, for comparison?
