Does anyone have a way to apply the depreciation cap for luxury passenger autos? The IRS has guidelines they release each year with the annual limits for the depreciation deductions. I do not see a provide method for this nor do I see a way to set a series of max annual deduction amounts in the method even if we created a new method.

I do not see an option at present to set the cap as mentioned on your requirement. You may post a feature request with the section details. We do have specific functionality to meet US requirement (related to section 179 of IRC), like the one mentioned below. Once you post the request, Product management team should be able to look into your requirement.
