When is the employee sales account used?
Employee sales account

Hello, I looked in quite a few places for evidence of where Employee Sales Account is used (as you may have done). I found several places where Employee Sales Subaccount is a candidate for posting, but none for employee Sales Account.
Acumatica Help states the Sales Account can be used to record sales made by an employee (such as to a certain Account or Subaccount tracking each salesperson’s sales separately in the GL).

However, I see no option in Sales Orders to obtain Sales Account from the Employee screen:

Accts Receivable Preferences has an option to pull Sales Subaccount from the Employee:

Inventory Posting Classes do not have any option to pull either Sales account or subaccount from the Employee screen.
Service Order Types may default Sales Subaccount from a Salesperson, and the Sales Subaccount is located at the top of Salespersons screen (with no Sales Acct setting present).
Employee Billing through projects is likely to use a Sales Account from GL Accounts tab of a Non-stock Labor item (or a sales account from project, customer, etc.) versus from the employee.
Maybe the Employee Sales Account supported a depracated, legacy posting option? I hope someone else can add more details for you.
