Customization to automate matching Shopify payments to Acumatica's Bank Deposit 'Add Payment'

@kstrobel You're right, there's no native process for Shopify Payments. Acumatica's automatic path (Import Settlement Batches on the processing center, which builds the bank deposit for you) needs the payment plug-in to supply settled batches. The Shopify Payments plug-in doesn't, and the Shopify connector has no payout entity. That's as of 2026 R1.

A customization doesn't have to match on amounts, though. The connector writes the Shopify order transaction ID into Payment Ref. on every Shopify Payments payment it imports. Shopify's payout balance transactions carry that same ID in sourceOrderTransactionId, along with the payout they belong to (associatedPayout) and amount, fee and net.

So per payout: pull its balance transactions, find the clearing-account payments by Payment Ref., and build the deposit with CADepositEntry.AddPaymentInfoBatch. Acumatica's own Create Deposit on Settlement Batches (CCBatchMaint) does exactly that, including charges and adjustments, so copy that pattern.

Two cautions. Book fees once: if the connector's Payment Fees mapping already puts them on each payment, don't add them again as deposit charges. And leave any deposit whose total doesn't tie to the payout's net on hold for review. Build and test it in a sandbox first.

There's no Bank Deposit entity on the shipped REST endpoints, so I'd build this inside Acumatica rather than drive it from an outside integration.

A customization is required to add a new column on the Deposit screen that displays the Shopify Order Number.

This will help identify and match the corresponding Shopify payment with the appropriate deposit transaction in Acumatica.

The customization should retrieve the Shopify Order Number associated with the payment and make it available on the Deposit screen for easier reconciliation and payment matching.
