credit hold for shipment only

Is there anyway we can put customer on Credit hold, but still process all materials to FG, but NOT ship product until credit is released?  We have very long leadtimes, and want a CREDIT HOLD FOR SHIPMENT ONLY -

​@trademark if you are asking about creating production order for an credit hold sales order. Then you want to manually create the production order and need to link with a sales order once the it is removed from hold.

      Hi @trademark,

      This would require the Customization on Shipments screen to restrict the shipment to be release when Customer is on Credit Hold.

        Hi ​@trademark 

        Please check following option on Order type screen. 

        This puts the SO on credit hold on creation if credit check fails. I would assume the customer is on credit hold when fails the credit check.
