Having an issue trying to close a completed production order. When I hit process in the Close Production Orders Module, I receive this error message: “IN Error: Unit conversion EA is missing.”
Is this coming from the stock item or the completed production order. The base unit for this stock item is listed as EA.

Thanks!!

@nwork i would double check the production order to make sure it doesn’t say EACH in any capacity.  i’ve noticed that from a project standpoint that if the UOM doesn’t match exactly, the system won’t post actual quantities, i am wondering if something similar is happening here.

@kandybeatty49 is this something that you’ve ever come across?

Hi @nwork

Can you share the stock item screen shot and the Production Maintenance general screen?

Hi @kandybeatty49

I attached a screenshot of the error message, the stock item, and the production order maintenance screen. Thanks!

Hi @nwork

Is there a different UOM on the BOM for the item?

@kandybeatty49
I attached the Production Order Detail that is tied to the production Order and also the BOM for that stock item.

Hi @nwork were you able to find a solution? Thank you!

Hi All,

I have exactly the same issue. Has anyone have a resolution?

thx

Dries

I have this same issue and have seen this question come up on other forums and none of them seem to have a solution.

@dannyfisher34 @nwork one thing i would check is to make sure the items specified on the BOM all have EA or have some conversion to ea if it doesn’t.

@dannyfisher34 do you have a recent example that you can share the trace log for?

  1. Please go through below steps:

    1. Open Stock Item screen and check the general tab is properly filled with the UOM or not?
    2. Open the Unit of measure and check the proper conversion is added or not
    3. Open the BOM and check for every item the unit of measure is added properly.
    4. Open the Production order screen and check the uom.

    I hope it will work.
