My customer recently upgraded to v2022 R2. They are attempting to close financial periods but have noticed that even though the financial period is closed they are still able to post transactions to the closed period. This was not an issue prior to their upgrade. Is this a known issue?

Do they have users who are posting with the Financial Supervisor Role?
Under General Ledger Preferences, do the have Restrict Access to Closed Periods enabled?

@estebanperalta54 and @kandybeatty49 stated, you can also lock the financial periods to prevent any entry from happening regardless of role. it really depends on how the company would like to use this functionality but if they are used to not having anyone post, i would lock to period once it’s been closed.
