Hi,
I am trying to change an existing Company in the system from Without Branches to With Branches Not Requiring Balancing, but I get the error shown below whenever I try saving.
Is there another screen I need to be looking at or updating to ensure this existing Company can be changed?

Hello,
I see several Acumatica support articles with similar errors reported - none is specifically related to Company Type in Companies screen. The cause was Known Issues in versions 2020-2021, and the solutions were related to Net/Gross Entry Mode setting in Enable/Disable features.
It may help you to toggle the Net/Gross Entry Mode feature in Enable/Disable Features screen, temporarily, to see if the change will allow update of your Company Type:
