Has anyone encountered this error when processing prepayment requests?
Error Message: “Cannot save document. Withholding tax exists in prepayment request.”
This typically occurs when the system detects withholding tax (WHT) settings conflicting with prepayment rules.
One way to resolve this issue is by deleting the withholding tax applied to the transaction, which allows the document to be saved and released successfully. However, if withholding tax is mandatory and needs to be recognized, is there a way to bypass this error or adjust the system settings to accommodate WHT in prepayments? Alternatively, can the system automatically remove the withholding tax since it is not supported? Any insights or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
