I added an Idea below, but I wanted to see if anyone is facing the same issue and if there is a workaround.
META sends transactions via shopify now and we see them in the SO/AR modules. META acts as a MPF (Marketplace Facilitator) and remits the taxes on our behalf.
The issue is that these transactions still make their way to Avalara as a tax liability for us. Avalara has mentioned that they have logic to identify these transactions so we can exclude them in their system as reportable, however we need to be able to SEND an attribute via the Avalara Integration.
ACU has said it would require a customization of the connector.
Has anyone dealt with this yet?
