When adding someone as a delegate for approvals, is it possible to also have the original approver still receive the notifications and approve documents?

Have you considered instead to use Workgroup Approvals? Then they would see the approvals and be able to approve if they wanted to.
Bumping this one to see if we can get a response. The current delegate functionality doesn’t allow for the original approver to maintain oversight or continue to get notifications.
+13Have you tried this option? But if there’s no delegate, then the main person will get it 2x.
I believe this will just update the notification. It won’t update the approver on the document, so the original approver still will not be able to approve.

+11I believe in Approval screen there is a “Reassigned” tab that original approver can see their delegated documents there. The delegate can see the assigned documents in My Approval tab of the Approval screen. So both they can see and both can approve.
I didn’t look into the notification code to see to whom it is sent.
