Allow or Prevent Employees from displaying on AP Documents

When searching for a Vendor on the AP Bill, Employee Business Account lists first. 

Can we have an AP Preference tickbox which will allow or prevent the Employees in the search function.

Or at least, add the employee type at the bottom of the list.

Currently, we have to create a Filter to exclude the Employee type , which does not always work correctly.

This is the AP Bill to select a Vendor. This first page is Employees only.

There are a few ways I can think to do this:

  1. You can sort the vendors by Vendor Class, sorting by Vendor Name will not work unless you change the ID of your employees on their records:


  1. You can use Row Level Security to remove access to vendors for users:

Thank you for your responses.

  1. Sorting or creating default filters. Works for a while, then gets overwritten on build/major upgrades.
  2. Row Level Security really needs to be vastly improved. Once setup, the administration is intensive. We get frequent support requests are as a result of users not understanding or forgetting to update the row level security.
  3. User Roles is a better solution, thank you for that.
