Does any one know if it is possible to add a transaction date to the nacha file generated from Acumatica, which would be the day of creation, and use this date as the posting date for payment entry date in Acumatica? Required to create nacha files with next business day selected to process by requirement of the bank. This creates a bit of confusion with reconciling because of the mismatched days.

Add a transaction date to Nacha file

Hi
NACHA dates cannot be changed without customization but a possible workaround could be the following steps:
- Keep the payment date as the creation date in Acumatica.
- But when generating the NACHA file, manually select the next business day as the effective date (as required by the bank).
- With this, bank settlement date and GL posting date will be different, but you will still be able to reconcile using the trace number, payment reference number or batch number instead of date. So while reconciling with the bank statement, match it by the amount and reference number instead of the posting date
This results in a difference between the bank settlement date and the GL posting date, which is normal operational timing and will not affect accounting accuracy.
Hope this helps
