​@ChrisElliot06 - this could be very helpful to us, does it take into account the different regulations by state and determine what the maximum allowed amount is? Such as in Connecticut a surcharge is illegal, would this enhancement determine that and not charge the customer a surcharge if the ship to were in Connecticut?

​@cihainu It uses Zip code from the customer address to determine the state of the customer and does not calculate surcharge if it’s not allowed. It also checks the card type based on the first 6 digits of the card number and does not add surcharge to the cards where it’s not allowed (e.g. debit cards).

​@Dmitrii Naumov Do you know if this customization package will be required for 2025 R2 or will it be in the base software?  If so, how soon after the 2025 R2 release will this be available?

Hi,

Trying to prepare for an upgrade, the 25R1 file won’t upload to the existing 24R1 instance, but the 25R1SP1 will. Does that make a difference if the upgrade is planned for 25.101.0153.3?

​@tonym68 for 25.101.0153.3 please use the 25R1SP1 version. 

Would this be able to be utilized towards a “Tariff” surcharge on parts too or is it just for Credit Card Payments?

​@Dmitrii Naumov how do customers get the surcharge to reflect on the invoices?

​@schott61 it is not reflected on the invoice, it’s only reflected on the payment. If you send the Payment receipts, it is reflected there.

​@Dmitrii Naumov is it possible to get it reflected on the invoice in report designer?

​@schott61 Yes, if you include the payment information in the Invoice report.

Is the Acumatica Surcharge Customization applicable only in the USA, or does it work in Canada, too?

Surcharge is only supported for US merchants today.

We do not offer surcharge for Canadian merchants as there are different rules for compliance. 

Any additional context about your personal use case you can share? I will be sure to review the feedback with the product team.
