We have this inquiry and we need to allow users to edit the pivot table using the gear icon, we tried providing delete access right of this screen to the role where the users assigned to.
Unfortunately they keep getting kicked out of the screen when they click on the gear icon.
Any idea why is that?

Please check the permissions given on ‘Access rights by screen’, under ‘Hidden’ category, for ‘Pivot tables’. This should determine user access to various sections on Pivot table.
