the two companies need to have independent Customers, Vendors, invoices, PO etc… How can this be setup

Hi
You can accomplish this by using Customer and Vendor Visibility Restriction. You may need to enable this feature for your instance. After that, you restrict visibility on the Financial tab of customers and vendors. You can also specify the visibility on the Customer Class and Vendor Class screens.
