Good afternoon,

Is there a way to set up a line item (i.e. - our company catalog) to go in at $0 value and bypass CREDIT HOLD so it doesn't get tied up?

We want it to count against inventory for the product, but just no monetary value.

Thank you!

@rfrantz

Can you create a business event to setup the Line item at $0 based on the conditions.

Well its already set at $0 value...but for some reason always goes on a CREDIT HOLD upon order entering.

Is it a setting on the line item thats causing it or what would be the reason a $0 order goes on CREDIT HOLD?

Is this on a Sales Order or Invoice? Have you tried checking the ‘Free Item’ box?

This would be on the order.

I did just try a fake order by clicking the free item before saving it and it still goes on CREDIT HOLD.

Is it something on the line item I can alter that may be causing it?

  1. Does it happen for multiple customers? Is it specifically a $0 (as opposed to say $5)?
  2. Do you have customizations?

I’m not aware of any out-of-box functionality that would put an order on Credit Hold because of a $0 line. If it really is doing that, I would suspect a customization.

I will touch base with my IT team to see if they set a customization up that could be causing it!

Doesnt make sense to me either!

Thank you for your responses!
