Why does Time Card allow Time Spent = -ve Value?

Hi @florencegoh50 ,

In Acumatica's Time & Expense module, it is possible to enter a negative value in the "Time Spent" field of an Employee Timecard transaction.

This functionality is useful when making adjustments to a previously entered timecard entry. For example, if an employee mistakenly enters 4 hours of time that they did not actually work, you can enter a new timecard entry for -4 hours to cancel out the previous entry.

Sweta

Correction Functions allow you to make correction to the actual hours spend.

Which system will automatically add or deduct on the transaction.

Hence I can’t relate to why it is required to allow user to key in a -ve value on the time card.
