Lock entire Sales Orders screen except for 1 field via security

Hello,

They would like to give their shippers rights to change the “Sched. Shipment” date on the shipping tab of the sales orders screen.  But that is all.  Everything else is locked.

 

This seems like a big undertaking, and I fear they will get to the end and find some fields are unavailable for locking in the access rights by role screen.

 

Anyone else done anything like this successfully?

 

Setting the upper level Sales Orders screen to view only and setting this specific field as “EDIT” did not work because of the higher level setting of “View Only” on the screen itself.

Please assign permissions at the largest level to "Delete", then the lower levels will be "View Only".

First, on the Sales Order screen, you assign permissions to the Shippers Role with Access Rights as "Delete"

Next, go to the fields If you want the Shippers Role to only view it, set it to "View Only"
