Hi there, lately it has come to our attention that there is a discrepancy between the Discount Unit Price of an item, and the Amount the item will be sold for occasionally when entering as Sales Order.  From my best guess, it is an error with rounding, but I was curious if anybody else has noticed this, and how they resolved it.  Here is an example of what I am talking about. In this example, we will just be making a quote for the customer.

The employee enters the item and the discount code into the sales order (in this example, the customer is getting a 25% discount on the item).  For this item, the discount price would be calculated to 12.555, but generally, this is rounded down to 12.55.  Initially, everything seems correct, the discount unit price matches the amount when the qty of the item is 1.

However, if we save the document and print it, or simply reload the screen, the discount unit price has changed, and has been rounded up.  Not that discount unit price that shows up on the print out is one cent too high, while the amount is remaining the same. This looks pretty odd to the customer if we are selling them an item that we are saying is 12.56, and the invoice (before taxes) is saying they only owe 12.55.

Now, it should be noted that this is resolved when we turn the sales order into an Invoice. The discount unit price matches what the amount when the qty is 1, and there is no issue.  This is really only a problem for when we are making a quote for a customer. Has anybody else experienced this issue? If so, what did they do about it?

P.S. I have confirmed that in the DAC, the discount unit price is actually being saved as 12.555 in this instance. I also know that I could probably just make an adjustment to the report print out, but I was curious if anybody else noticed this. This also occurs when I have unpublished all customizations.
