Can't save / download xml files from community

Is anyone else recently having issues saving xml file from the community?

 

If not what steps are you using to save these files?

Hi @jcox43 and @ed.goodman - there was an issue noticed yesterday with downloading a .xml file. I opened a ticket with Gainsight support. If you have trouble, you might try zipping the file (or asking author to) and see if you can upload/download. That could be a workaround until fixed.

I was recently able to save an .xml file from a knowledgebase document by right-clicking in the file, then doing a Save Link As …

This enabled me to save the xml file to the Downloads folder.

Just an update. It appears it’s an issue with .zip files as well. I have updated the support ticket with that information. I don’t have an ETA on a fix yet.

This is how I typically save the files but today I was receiving an error when trying to save them.

Just an update. It appears it’s an issue with .zip files as well. I have updated the support ticket with that information. I don’t have an ETA on a fix yet.

From Gainsight support : Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I’ve flagged it as a high priority and have raised an engineering ticket to ensure it’s addressed as quickly as possible. I’ll keep you updated here and let you know as soon as it’s resolved.
